This is an original 1914 black and white halftone print of “W. Frère Orban.” Hubert Joseph Walthère Frère-Orban was the founder of the national bank of Belgium, a Belgian liberal politician, a statesman and Prime Minister of Belgium. Orban was author of the charter for the liberal political party in the newly formed State of Belgium.
